Privacy Policy
Fort Greene Orchestra (“FGO,” “we,” “us”) is operated by Daniel Zinn Music LLC. This policy describes the personal information we collect from ticket buyers, audience members and people who contact us, and what we do with it. It applies to www.fortgreene.live, this site, our box-office email and phone line, and our text messaging.
Information we collect
- Contact details you give us: name, email address, and phone number.
- Ticket and order information: the concerts you buy or reserve, seats, quantities, and order history. Payments are taken by our ticketing provider; we do not receive or store your full card number.
- Your messages and requests: emails, texts, voicemails and calls to the box office, including questions about tickets, changes, refunds, accessibility needs, or appointments and visits.
- Text-message records: the phone number, the content and time of messages, and records of when you opted in or out.
How we use it
- To answer your questions and provide customer service.
- To process, fulfill, change and support your ticket orders, including seating and accessibility arrangements.
- To send concert reminders and service updates for events you have tickets to or have asked us about.
- To keep records of consent and opt-outs, to protect against fraud and misuse, and to meet legal and accounting obligations.
Service providers who help us
We use a limited set of providers to run the box office, such as our ticketing platform, our business phone and text-messaging service (currently Quo), email, and customer-records tools. They may process your information only to provide those services to us. We do not sell your personal information.
Text messaging (SMS)
Text messaging is voluntary and is not a condition of buying tickets or attending a concert. If you text the box office at (718) 673-9719 or agree to receive texts, we use your mobile number only to reply to you and to send the ticket-service, reminder and update messages you asked for. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help; you can also email fgoboxoffice@gmail.com.
We do not share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Numbers are shared only with the service providers that deliver our messages (for example, our texting platform and the carriers), solely to handle and deliver them for us.
Buying a ticket does not automatically sign you up for marketing texts.
Our text messaging is awaiting carrier registration and is not yet active. These terms will apply once it begins, and we will not send you marketing texts without your separate agreement.
How long we keep information
We keep information for as long as is reasonably needed for the purposes above, including to support past orders and to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements, and then delete or de-identify it. Records of text opt-ins and opt-outs are kept so we can honor your choices.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards and limit access to the people and providers who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices: access, correction and deletion
You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and you may opt out of texts at any time. Email fgoboxoffice@gmail.com from the address on your order, or text from the number concerned. We may need to verify your identity, and may keep records we are required to keep, such as order records.
Children
Our services are for adults buying tickets. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy and will post the new effective date here.
